Please join us at our brand-new beautiful space in Bonsall for an afternoon that will be playful, strengthening and inspiring for everyone. Desiree Rumbaugh will lead and practice along with the class, offering poses that are suited to everyone in the room.
Since 1989, Desiree has been teaching yoga and, in that time, through all of the ups and downs of life, she has evolved her own practice to be stronger and more sustainable than ever. It’s true that like fine wine, yogis get better with age. She loves group practices and led them twice weekly for ten years at her studio in Scottsdale, AZ. Now she has moved to Temecula and is eager to get to know more of the dedicated yogis in the area.
Who may attend?
If you are fairly strong and have some experience with alignment-based yoga, this class is for you. Please bring an attitude of willingness and a curious mind and be open to discovering how much better you can feel in just two hours of practice. Strong beginners are welcome too. If you have an acute injury, this might not be the best class for you, but if you have chronic back, hip, neck, shoulder or knee pain, you will likely feel better after we are finished.
What to expect?
Laughter, learning and a few Aha! moments. Teaching people of all ages and all levels throughout the world for the past 22 years, Desiree has become very experienced at recognizing students’ abilities, even when she first meets them. She will tailor the class to fit the needs of the group, challenging everyone appropriately. We will play, but we will also stay very safe. Together we will create an environment conducive to growth and healing for every student in the room.
