Meditation for Release

What would it feel like to simply Be? Do you yearn for the feeling of being in the present moment with loved ones or experiences, but feel pulled by the past or worried about the present? If so, this workshop is for you!
Participants will learn and experience tools to:
– Access the powerful and relaxing effects of the Vagus Nerve, allowing the body to heal, rejuvenate and reset
– Feel emotional freedom (from anxiety, depression, stuckness, trauma, wounds) – Unblock the path to potential and creativity
– Untether from pain (chronic pain, illness, disease and ailments)
– Bring awareness to the deeper longings that underly addiction
This workshop is truly for everyone. Whether you simply want to learn how to relax or want to work on something deeper, an environment of containment will be created so you feel safe to explore. Leslie will be using the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra meditation to guide you into a deep relaxation – most participants chose to be in a reclined position during this practice. You will also be guided using the tools of Somatic Experiencing, a practice that is at the forefront of trauma and stress resolution.
Leslie Boyd, MS, RYT: Leslie completed the 3-year Somatic Experiencing (SE) program in 2017. She believes the body has the capacity and inner engineering to heal itself. This belief informs her practice whether she is working privately with clients in a counseling setting, yoga therapeutics, or teaching an asana class. The practices she shares allowed her to find freedom from chronic pain and illness. She is passionate about sharing these powerful techniques.
