The expense for your airfare is your responsibility. Direct flights from LAX to Liberia Airport in Costa Rica are available via Alaska Airlines. The drive to Los Angeles is worthwhile for a direct flight, which lasts approximately 5 hours and 45 minutes. Presently, flight prices from LAX range between $350 and $450 on Alaska Airlines. Kindly forward us your travel schedule after booking your flights.

Airport Transportation – 

In the US: for your departure to Costa Rica is your Responsibility. 

In Costa Rica: Round-trip airport transportation from Liberia International Airport (LIR) to the Retreat Center (Playa Negra) is included in the retreat fee exclusively for arrivals on October 8th and departures on October 14th. Drive time is approximately 75 minutes each way. 

Please note: The retreat officially begins on October 8th and ends on October 14th. You are welcome to arrive before the first day and/or extend your stay beyond the last day. Please note that you will need to arrange and cover the costs for your own transportation, lodging, and meals during these additional days.

Transportation for all excursions will be arranged for you. 

It takes about 20 minutes on foot to get to town and the beach. Bike rental services are available in town for convenient trips to and from both the beach and town.

Exchanging dollars to colones in Costa Rica typically offers a more favorable rate than doing so before your arrival. Not every establishment in Costa Rica accepts credit cards, although U.S. dollars are widely accepted. It's advisable to carry sufficient local currency for purchases, dining, and gratuities.

Well, the good news, we won’t need to heat a yoga studio! It will be warm for our trip, but quite enjoyable. Days are hot; evenings are blissful. Afternoon rainstorms are common, and quite beautiful. The bungalows are air conditioned, and the pool is perfect for cooling off.

For any of these activities, tipping is optional but will definitely be welcomed by the individuals running these businesses.

Sage Yoga will secure an insurance policy for the event to ensure the health and safety of our attendees. We highly advise you to obtain insurance for your travel expenses and personal belongings when traveling to Costa Rica.

Refunds are not available; however, a credit toward a future retreat can be provided, excluding the non-refundable deposit. We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance to cover potential cancellations.

Secure your spot and accommodation by making a full payment of $2476, or opt for a $500 deposit to initiate a payment plan.

Payment schedule is as follows:

• Immediate Deposit: Required to confirm your booking.
• Payment Start Date: Determined by your selection at checkout.
• Final Payment Due: September 30, 2024.
• Note on Final Payment: May be larger depending on the chosen start date.

• Cash/Check Full Payment: Receive a $76 discount on the overall price when you pay the full amount in cash or by check.
• Special Room Offer: One room is available at a reduced price of $2276. This room benefits from a natural cooling system and does not have air conditioning.

Not completing payment by 9/30/24 will result in the cancellation of your retreat booking, with refunds issued according to our cancellation policy.

Upon receiving your deposit, we will send you a retreat agreement and additional details.
